Strawberry strengthens its team with a new Vice President

Strawberry is entering the future with a top-notch team after Jannicka Jingryd was recruited as the new Vice President for Quality Hotel in the Nordics. Jingryd comes from the Social Eatertainment Group where she has been the Chief Operating Officer since 2020.

– We are incredibly happy to have Jannicka Jingryd on board as the Vice President for Quality Hotel. Throughout her career, she has taken steps forward and delivered at a top level no matter what challenge she has been given. Her ideas on how Quality Hotel can provide even better guest experiences make us excited to have her in the starting lineup, says Katalin Paldeak, Chief Operating Officer for the Strawberry hotel chains.

Jingryd started in the service industry after high school and has stayed in the industry ever since. Over the course of 20 years, she has taken on increasing responsibilities and new challenges and has been the Managing Director for TGI Fridays in Sweden and Norway in recent years before being recruited to the Social Eatertainment Group in 2020, which is the group behind O'Learys, Harrys, and Sing Sing Karaoke.

– Ever since I became a shift leader when I was a waiter, I have been focused on creating good teams that deliver great experiences to guests. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to work more strategically with brand and concept development, sales and marketing, and growth, but with team and employee development still as a priority. I look forward to getting to know new colleagues at Quality Hotel and seeing how my experience can contribute, says the incoming SVP, Quality Hotel Nordics, Jannicka Jingryd.

Quality Hotel currently consists of 63 hotels in Norway and Sweden. The hotels have meeting and event facilities for various occasions, as well as restaurants or dining options. As part of the transformation to Strawberry, Quality Hotel is also undergoing concept and brand development.

She is known for being skilled at motivating her teams towards the set goals, and we need someone with documented results in engaging employees in the changes that Quality Hotel is facing.
