Press release -

Status from Nordic Choice Hotels 03.12

As a result of the virus our IT- systems were exposed to on the night of Thursday 2 December, we are still experiencing technical problems. We are working to get an overview of the incident and its consequences, while we do everything to ensure that guests at the hotels have a great stay.

As it looks now, many of the hotels will have to continue to use manual solutions over the weekend and be back in normal operation in a few days. For our guests, this means that it will probably take a little longer with check-in and check-out at the hotels. Beyond that, we hope that the hotel stay will be experienced as normally as possible.

Some Nordic Choice Club members have today received an SMS or email from the Nordic Choice Club informing them that the login password has been changed. This does not imply accuracy. The transmission of these is not related to the virus, and the password has not been changed. The member pages are unfortunately down as a result of the technical challenges and members can therefore not yet log in to your personal member profile. In the meantime, bookings must be made at choicehotels.com.

In the meantime, we ask for your understanding that there may be a longer waiting time than normal. All resources are invested to handle the challenges and put in place a new system that allows us to return to normal operation as soon as possible.

We are in touch with the National Security Authority and other relevant actors in the handling and will provide new information as soon as we have the opportunity.
