Popular Hotel Sveitsi to Join Strawberry's Growing Hotel Portfolio

In the heart of perhaps the most exciting part of southern Finland stands Hotel Sveitsi. With its fantastic location in stunning natural surroundings, the hotel is soon to be part of Strawberry's Nordic hotel portfolio after customary regulatory approvals have been received.

Hotel Sveitsi will soon be part of the Nordic hotel company Strawberry's hotel portfolio. The hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful and pristine Hyvinkää nature area and is part of its leisure center.

- Few things feel better than starting the summer with an announcement of a birth. This time, it’s the result of the relationship between Strawberry and the property owner Sveitsi Kiinteistörahasto Oy. The impressive Hotel Sveitsi will become a significant family member of Strawberry, adding something entirely new to our offerings in the Nordic hotel market. The hotel staff has done magical work establishing the hotel, and I look forward to continuing that work with the team, says Petter Stordalen, owner of the hotel group Strawberry.

Strawberry will enter as a new hotel operator as soon as the necessary permits from the authorities have been obtained. The deal is a result of a 10-year lease agreement between Strawberry and the property owner Sveitsi Kiinteistörahasto Oy.

The hotel can now attract broader groups of visitors from all over our Nordic region, says Martti Paloheimo, Chairman Sveitsi Kiinteistörahasto Oy.

The 182-room hotel is a true paradise for the active and nature-loving. Adjacent to the hotel are a cinema, group sports facilities, venues and facilities for indoor sports and adventure. The area also includes tennis courts and driving access to two golf courses.

The hotel is also a popular meeting and event hotel with 13 spacious, fully equipped meeting rooms for 15 to 150 people. Hotel Sveitsi also has five different auditoriums for seminars, panel discussions, and performances. The hotel's banquet hall regularly hosts everything from meetings, fairs, and balls to parties and weddings for up to 1,000 participants.

For the hungry, the hotel has two restaurants and bars. The hotel's interior follows a Nordic style characterized by high-quality design, relaxing colors, and earthy materials.

All employees at Hotel Sveitsi will continue their employment at Strawberry, and guests' existing bookings will be fully taken over by Strawberry.
