Henrik Berghult appointed new executive leader for Nordic Hotels & Resorts

Henrik Berghult will take over as the top manager of Petter Stordalen's portfolio of award-winning independent hotels in the Nordic region. Nordic Hotels & Resorts has grown steadily in recent years and continues to expand its offering with the best hotels in the Nordic region. Most recently with the new spa hotel Falsterbo Strandbad.

With hotels such as Yasuragi, Copperhill Mountain Lodge, At Six, The Thief, Hotel Kämp and Villa Copenhagen, Nordic Hotels & Resorts has 40 of the Nordic region's most appreciated and award-winning hotels. And the portfolio will grow in the coming years. In September, the famous Sommero opens in Oslo, next year Tofta Beach & Spa on Gotland and in the coming years, Falsterbo Strandbad in Skåne.

Today it was made public that Nordic Hotels & Resort's has appointed their new COO, Henrik Berghult. Henrik most recently came from the role as Director of Operations for Clarion Hotel in Sweden and Finland.

- Henrik has a proven track record where, no matter where he is, he promotes profitability, outstanding guest experience and not least staff satisfaction. These are three characteristics that define successful hotel operations. I am therefore extremely pleased that he has accepted the new role as leader of our independent hotels within Nordic Hotels & Resorts. The portfolio will continue to grow in the future, and with Henrik we will have a confident and clear leader to develop the business further, says Nordic Choice Hotels CEO Torgeir Silseth.

Henrik Berghult currently works as Director of Operations for Clarion Hotel in Sweden. He has previously worked in other hotel chains such as purchasing manager for The Rezidor Hotel Group, where he worked internationally with brands such as Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Regent and Missoni Hotels. Prior to that, he held a number of senior operational positions in Sweden and Norway within Norwegian-owned Norlandia Hotels & Resorts, where he was part of the Group Management team. Berghult has studied service management at Lund University and completed management programs at Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in the USA.

Henrik Berghult will start his new position on 20th of April. Henrik will in his new role be part of Nordic Choice Hotel's Executive Committee.
