General update on corona handling in Nordic Choice Hotels

All 207 hotels are open for guests and visitors as usual, but with special attention for the safety of guests and employees.

Due to many media requests, Nordic Choice Hotels will provide a general statement on the situation in the company during the virus outbreak.

Nordic Choice Hotels has no proven or suspected infection cases. All our hotels follow the advice from national health authorities to prevent infection amongst guests and employees. An action plan has been distributed to ensure the handling if suspicion arises at a hotel. This plan details, among other things, rapid involvement of health professionals and security partners to look after our guests and employees.

Our 207 hotels in Nordic Choice Hotels have functioned as usual throughout this period and will continue to be open and in regular operation for guests and meeting attendees. We believe that it is safe for both guests and employees as long as advice from national health authorities is followed. The cancellations we receive are mainly from foreign travel groups and large conferences. We have adjusted our cancellation policy for bookings from areas where travel restrictions have been implemented. Otherwise, our normal cancellation policy is still valid.

Nordic Choice Hotels monitors the situation closely and acts in accordance with the current advice from national health authorities in all six countries we have operations.
